Yesterday it was asked why voters should really care about the various scandals emerging in Washington.  Today, in this article from the Sierra Club, we have one example: many of the most corrupt politicians in Washington also have the worst records when it comes to keeping your air clean and your forests green. 

The League of Conservation Voters ranks every Member of Congress on their record when it comes to protecting the environment.  In this article, Paul Rauber takes a look at those elected officials with ties to either the Jack Abramoff influence-peddling scandal, or the Duke Cunningham bribery scandal who also rank very low in the eyes of the LCV.  You'd think politicians notorious for their love of green bills would be a little more supportive of, you know, other green things.
