Did you have a chance to watch Bill Moyers' "Capitol Crimes" program last night?  We've been tracking the Abramoff scandal as it has unfolded, but to watch the whole series of reprehensible actions consolidated into two hours was alarming to say the least. If you were able to watch, be sure and visit the PBS webpage with resource material for the piece, and weigh in on the blog discussion of what to do in the wake of this scandal. 

Bill Moyers pays a visit to the Lincoln Memorial and laments, in this piece on TomPaine.com that the city the monument looks across no is longer devoted to "government of, by, and for the people" but rather "a subservient subsidiary of richly endowed patrons."
