This morning Public Campaign Action Fund's Campaign Money Watch project sent a letter to Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Ron Paul, and Mitt Romney asking them to go on the record promising to do something about the influence of money in our elections, and to support public financing of campaigns.

Politics NJ is carrying press releases from a number of campaigns in the 14th and 37th districts eager to participate in New Jersey's Clean Elections pilot program, re-authorized just a couple of weeks ago.  Districts are still being determined; the plan is to go with a Democratic district, a Republican district and a swing district.  One of the main complaints about the first round of the pilot program was low participation, so the apparent enthusiasm this time around is a good thing!
