Lots to report on… Déjà vu all over again…nearly a decade ago, then state-senate candidate Katherine Harris (R) faced questions about $20,000 in illegal contributions she took from a Sarasota company. “I'm a victim here," she said. "There's absolutely no way I knew at the time or could have known,” she said at the time, reports the Orlando Sentinel. Sound familiar?
The watchdog group the Center for Public Integrity has a new report out on House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-OH), saying he is a corporate highflyer, “accepting of many lobbyist gifts, able to move millions from corporations to Congressional Republicans through PACs, and not so very much unlike his indicted predecessor,” reports the Raw Story. Read the Center for Public Integrity’s report here.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) raised $2.5 million at a Beverly Hills fundraiser.
