The enthusiastic discussion of publicly financed elections, and the Fair Elections Now Act, at the Yearly Kos  has prompted the founder of Daily Kos, the most trafficked political blog, to examine his position on the policy and lean towards supporting it.  Though he still has questions about the qualifying process, it does speak to the power of a bill in the Senate, and a prominent discussion of campaign finance among presidential candidates, to move this work forward and gather new support.
