More on the "A Team"

Yesterday, Katie pointed to an "intern guide" leaked out of Rep. Don Young's (R-AK) office. The guide listed an "A Team" of lobbyists who were to be given access to any Young staff member they wanted.

 

It's of course no surprise that big corporate lobbyists get special treatment in Washington.

 

So, we did a little digging. And 8 of the 9 lobbyists listed have given over $80,000 to Young's campaign over the years, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

 

This is, sadly, just one part of a long history of questions raised about Rep. Young's connections to campaign contributors.
