Well, it looks like Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) may not make it back to the Senate after all. While things looked good after the election, the AP has now called the race for his Democratic opponent Mark Begich.

But before we say tavvauvutit (that’s Inuit for goodbye), I wanted to do a quick recap of some of our Stevens coverage over the years.

• Before the indictment, we had earmarks. Boats and bridges, oh my.
• The polar bears and Stevens were having some troubles so they decided on a fundraising strategy.
• Then came the indictment.
• Then came the trial.
• And finally, the guilty verdict.
