“Three Wall Street and Big Oil-fueled fundraisers in Washington, D.C. in one day?” asked Nick Nyhart, executive director of Public Campaign Action Fund. “Carly Fiorina may not be a member of Congress yet, but coming to Washington, D.C. to raise money from lobbyists representing BP and Wall Street shows she’s not yet serious about cleaning up Congress."
 
“Fiorina could demonstrate her commitment to changing Washington’s ways by pledging to end this broken system when elected to Congress,” said Nyhart.
Details on the events:

• Carly Fiorina’s June 29th event at the NRSC is hosted by lobbyists for the oil industry, including one from BP and in-house lobbyists from Exxon Mobil and Occidental Petroleum.
• Her event at Navigators Global (previously DC Navigators) is hosted by lobbyists representing some if the nation’s most powerful business interests.
• And the third event of the day, at the Monocle Restaurant is hosted by lobbyists representing the oil industry, including in-house lobbyists for Exxon Mobil, Occidental Petroleum, and Halliburton.
