NPR's Peter Overby discussed the Fair Elections Now Act (S. 752, H.R. 1826) on the radio this morning with lead House sponsor, Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.). The discussion noted the national Campaign for Fair Elections effort, including television ad's that aired recently in selected markets. "The lead co-sponsor is Rep. John Larson, chairman of the House Democratic Caucus. He says that politics nowadays isn't so much about candidates or issues — it's mainly about money.
