 <title>What about Bill? PCAF&#039;s Most Recent Newsletter</title>
 <link>http://www.campaignmoney.org/blog/2007/04/03/new-law-in-new-mexico#comment-78396</link>
<description>I am very bothered that PCAF chose to applaud the front-runners in the Presidential race for their efforts before lauding Bill Richardson who actually took action. Remember, Bill Richardson is also a presidential hopeful and probably the best hope of someone taking action at the federal level for campaign finance and responsible and ethical government in general. Instead, PCAF promoted the two Democratic hopefuls who are playing the typical Rock-Star campaign fund-raising game. I am disappointed in PCAF.

 <title>New Law in New Mexico?</title>
 <link>http://www.campaignmoney.org/blog/2007/04/03/new-law-in-new-mexico</link>
<description>The New Mexico legislature went into a special session to deal with a number of pending bills; one of the two that emerged from it was a bill to expand the &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.kobtv.com/index.cfm?viewer=storyviewer&amp;amp;id=31411&amp;amp;cat=NMTOPSTORIES&quot;&gt;state&amp;#39;s public financing program&lt;/a&gt; - currently in place for the Public Regulation Commission - to judicial races. Governor Bill Richardson supports the idea, but wants to veto a portion of the bill that would require a ballot initiative amending the state constitution to eliminate retention elections. </description>
