Ralph Reed is running for lieutenant governor in Georgia, and some say he wants to use this office as a stepping stone to the U.S. Senate or the White House.

Reed took in more than $4 million from convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff and groups connected to him, much of which flowed from American Indian gaming clients. Reed, who once said “[G]ambling is a cancer on the American body politic,” denies that he knew the source of the funds, even though his own emails expose that he knew exactly where the money was coming from.

Public Campaign Action Fund's Campaign Money Watch project is considering a voter education campaign in Georgia to expose Reed's big money hypocrisy.
