Dear Governor Corzine:

You are one of my heroes, having supported public financing of political campaigns. I am very surprised and disappointed to learn that you have not included continued funding for this in the state budget. I understand how difficult it has become for states to deal with serious deficits, but to cut a very successful program that is ensuring cleaner and honest elections of candidates beholden only to their constituents is most unwise. This is a foundation for good government, and I implore you to restore funding for it.
                      Sincerely yours,
                      Stanley Boyd

Governor,
You know the value of public financed elections. Why haven't you included funding for them? Was it an oversight?
Please back any and all legislation that includes public financing dollars in the budget.
  Thank you.

HURRAH! time to make

HURRAH! time to make Pay-To-Play Politics a thing of the past! let,s hope New Jersey provides the SPARK that ignites a FIRE nationwide. those damned corrupting Lobbyists and Special Interests have had things their own way for too long at the expense of our country, and others around the world. 6 dollars a year is a small price to pay to publicly fund ALL elections/campaigns,no more than the price of a pack of cigarettes really...and cheap at twice the price!

Dear Senator Clinton,

I am glad to hear you are in support of public financing of elections. However, I notice that you are only in support of this after you have spent the money you have raised in your presidential bid. I do hope that if you are successful in your efforts that you will not be overly influenced by the Hollywood circus that has given you so much. They have no clue how most of us live and what we would like to see our great nation achieve.
Sincerely, Mary Carter

Public financing of campaigns

Dear Senator Clinton,

I am so glad you would support public financing of campaigns. It has worked so well in Arizona and Maine for 4 elections.

It would keep politicians from spending so much time raising money and they could spend that time working to come up with ideas that help make America a better place for all Americans.

Every year more and more money needs to be raised by candidates. I think public financing is the best way change the current system so that politicians can win elections because they have the best ideas.

Good Luck.
