 <title>Maine Clean Elections Act</title>
 <link>http://www.campaignmoney.org/blog/2006/01/13/demand-stations-run-our-ad#comment-86503</link>
 <description>Hello,

My name is Brian Ward and I am a student at Towson University (Just North of Baltimore, MD) and I am currently writing a paper about the Clean Elections in Maine and I saw that you were the campaign director of the referendum in 1996. I just wanted to get some information from you about the struggle in 1996 and now. Here are couple of questions if you don&#039;t mind answering:

Why were you in support of this Bill?

Who were your allies (elected officials or organizations)?

Why did this bill come up in the first place, was there a scandal of some sort?

What is the your organizations&#039; perspective on the bill? Do you think it doesn&#039;t go far enough?

You can add whatever else you want. Thank you so much, my paper is due on Thursday, October 18th. You can email at brian.ward.j@gmail.com me anytime if you have any questions. Thank you.
