Sen. Durbin Introduces Fair Elections Now Act -- March 22, 2007Assistant Senate Majority Leader Richard Durbin (D-IL) and Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) have introduced the Fair Elections Now Act that would bring Clean Elections to the U.S. Senate. Durbin has pledged to lead this fight in the Senate represents a significant milestone in the history of Clean Elections. Rep. John Tierney (D-MA) will introduce similar legislation in the House that will cover those races.
