Well, it looks like Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) may not make it back to the Senate after all. While things looked good after the election, the AP has now called the race [1] for his Democratic opponent Mark Begich.

But before we say tavvauvutit (that’s Inuit for goodbye), I wanted to do a quick recap of some of our Stevens coverage over the years.

• Before the indictment, we had earmarks [1]. Boats and bridges, oh my.
• The polar bears and Stevens were having some troubles so they decided on a fundraising strategy. [1]
