Susan Ralston, personal aide to Karl Rove, has resigned [1] over her ties to disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

Ralston, who worked previously as an assistant to Abramoff, continued to have contact with him in her capacity assisting Rove, the extent of which was detailed in the report released [2] last week by the House Committee on Government Reform on the 400+ contacts between the Abramoff and the White House.
