Took $144k from Wall Street Interests in 2010

Washington, D.C.—Campaign finance watchdog Public Campaign Action Fund questioned the appointment of Rep. Jim Renacci (R-Ohio) as Vice Chair of a House Subcommittee that oversees financial institution after he took  $144,000 from Wall Street interests during his first election to Congress.

Washington, DC - A new television ad will begin airing Thursday in three Congressional districts, highlighting the votes of three newly elected members of Congress on health care repeal and the money they received from health and insurance interests in the 2010 election cycle. The ads will air in the districts of Jim Renacci (R-Ohio), Jon Runyan (R-N.J.) and Tim Walberg (R-Mich.).
