If you've missed news on former Rep. Tom DeLay and his assorted misdeeds (and who hasn't?) cheer yourself up with this bit of satire on his complaints about the judge assigned to his Texas trial on money laundering and corruption charges: "It just wouldn't be right if we had an actual trial in Texas, this is about power and money not honesty and integrity."

Ok, this? Is really funny. Stephen Colbert of the Colbert Report does a bit on fomer Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack dropping out of the race because he couldn't raise enough money, asking why Vilsack didn't just sell his soul to "evil corporate overlords." Also, he compares public financing to a communal tractor, but we'll try not to hold that against him.

See, there's a campaign finance angle to everything... The Onion draws attention to sorely needed reforms in the sugary beverage industry -- and wins my heart with use of the word "quenchiness."

Russ Feingold and John McCain have a new angle on reform, at least according to The Onion. Now I love a good ethics reform joke as much as the next girl but could America's Finest News Source have spared me the image of "lasagna rollups"?
